The Mitre Hotel enjoys a central location, convenient to train stations and attractions like the AO Arena and Manchester Cathedral, with the city's shops, bars, and restaurants close by. Guests often appreciate the spacious and comfortable rooms, many of which include amenities like tea and coffee making facilities and ironing boards. The breakfast buffet is generally well-received, even though some guests felt it could be a little hotter. The historic building adds to the charm, although the older windows mean some noise can be heard in the early morning.

Prime Location and Efficient Service

convenient locationlovely viewquick check-inself-serve breakfast
I found the location convenient. It allowed easy access to shopping areas and various dining options. The view of the cathedral from my window was lovely. I particularly enjoyed hearing the bells on Sunday morning. The professional gentleman at check-in made the process quick. Breakfast provided a self-serve setup with good options. It was indeed a great way to begin my days. The room was pleasant and clean. I found the bed quite comfortable. The staff were really good too ensure a secure stay. The hotel also had a nice bar downstairs. The music played was enjoyable.
I noticed the bathroom door did not fully close. That was very slight inconvenience. The noise from the surrounding area was a bit loud.

The location was GREAT! It was near everything, made exploring the city so easy. The room was also very clean. I was kinda surprised by how large it was.
The toilets made an loud drilling sound whenever someone flushed, it was pretty disruptive. I am not sure why this wasn't mentioned beforehand. I could hear it from my room often, difficult to sleep sometimes.
